General Update:
THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS PLAYED SO FAR <3
I have really enjoyed working no this prototype and seeing how much I can learn about designing for both movement and for satisfying first person action.
This update is to test some ideas I've been having on improving the player feel and control when moving through a level.
The main new features are ALT FIRE and SLAM!!!
Alt Fire now has the force push added to it while regular firing does not, this means you can choose to fire with a force recoil, shooting yourself into the air if pointed down or slowing down for better accuracy, regular fire will now feel easier to shoot while aiming at the enemies as the force recoil has been removed.
Slam is a fast way to get back to the ground while in mid air, allowing you to chain combos with the Grapple and Alt Fire to move as fast as humanly possible through the level without the DEAD AIR (get it) of waiting to fall to the ground. Slam also produces a force push to nearby enemies as a good way of break up crowds.
All current features and new ones to come are experiential and depend on great feedback from you to determine what parts feel really good and where things are starting to get too complex.
